A hidden gem in Oakman, Alabama.

Where Country
Roots Are Laid

OakVine Village is Calling Your Name

This historic village will serve as a living time machine, where guests can step into an era untouched by smartphones, algorithms, and digital distractions.

Through authentic period architecture, hands-on craftsmanship, traditional farming, and daily life reenactments, OakVine Village will recreate the sights, sounds, and spirit of the 19th century.

Our mission is to reconnect people with nature, craft, and community—offering a "train to the past" that serves the future of this county and beyond. Heritage and legacy is everything to what we do here.

Through authentic period architecture, hands-on craftsmanship, traditional farming, and daily life reenactments, OakVine Village will recreate the sights, sounds, and spirit of the 19th century. It’s a place where history isn’t just observed—it’s lived, allowing people to reconnect with the simplicity, craftsmanship, and community values of a time long before artificial intelligence shaped the world.
The main goal of restoring OakVine Village is to transport visitors back to the 1800s, offering a truly immersive, AI-proof experience that disconnects them from modern technology and plunges them into the past.

What's comin' around the bend?

We are currently working hard getting the village up to par. Alot has to happen in the making this space amazing so please be patient with us as we attempt to restore, add on and make new attractions for OakVine Village.

Driven by passion, grounded in purpose, and united by the dream of bringing history and community to life.
